While on vacation with family in Avalon, NJ, we came across an Acai bowl shop when walking off of the beach. We didn't know much about acai bowls, but anything cool and refreshing sounded good in the moment. And it was delicious. So good, in fact, that we brought the concept home to Maine as soon as we could. In 2022, we opened Maddie's Acai Bowls. We keep it simple; Organic Acai sorbet topped with the freshest fruit, granola, nuts, local wildflower honey, peanut butter, nutella, chocolate, etc.
